48re Transmission Filter Question!!

I just replaced the transmission oil filter and after replacing was looking at the manual instructions and it appears that the diagram shows the filter being installed up side down, at least what it looks like to me. Does any one have any pictures showing the correct placement of the filter. I would think the rubber seal portion would be placed upward against the pump. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. When looking from the bottom of the filter after it is installed one should be able to see the filter inside the case is this correct?

I did mine a couple of weeks ago and it only fits on one way. Rubber seal up.

Thanks for the reply Steve! I did find a photo that showed the filter like you said with the rubber seal facing the transmission. Their illustration is not very accurate. I have found others that were not correct also. Thanks for the reply.
