Dang, thats a good price for a new unit, here is the link I don't get the black color though. maybe its just the camera lighting.

I met a guy at the Idaho BOMB party in March who put a 48re in his '92. It took a lot of work (and $$$$) but he was pleased as pie with it once it was dialed in. The installer set shift points by interfacing with a PC with some sort of software. They would make adjustments then he'd try it for awhile then take it back to tweak it some more. After 2-3 rounds of that he was real happy with it.



I wish I could remember who did the work. It was around $6000.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to keep one around just in case :-laf Although I want a fully built trans when mine finally grenades, hopefully many more miles down the road.
