I could have sworn I posted this already, but search of my id did not turn it up. Oh well, sorry for the repeat if it is one... .





Ihave a 2001. Can you swap a 48Re in place of a 47RE? Anyone done this?

Would physically fit but the computers are different. The 48 uses the Cummins ECM to control it and we use the PCM. Can the PCM control a 48re? Good question.
