99V-10 to 91 Cummins questions

Hi, I am a new to posting/paying member that lives in the Phoenix area. I have been searching for cummins 4bt's for over a year and it seems like the supply is starting to diminish as the prices keep climbing. I finally found some sources that seem to be worth making a trip for and I am picking up 2 complete cpl 858 engines th400 transmissions for myself and my mom from across the country

My question is, and if I am doing something wrong here, please correct me since I am new, if I were able to purchase any good extra engine/transmission combos or just engines, is there anyone in the Phoenix area that would be interested in them? I am leaving thursday to make a 2300mile return trip and since I have the room available for up to 3 more (but can only be sure of 1 more available until I get there) I would like to help anyone else out that wants one as bad as I do. I would only ask for enough money beyond my cost to help cover the travel expenses since I have learned so much from reading your guy's combined wealth of knowledge for several years now even though I don't post.

I own and really like the white and red 92 w250 custom crewcab that belonged to another member on here who lives not too far away from me, but I will not ask him to vouch for me unless he so chooses. The total cost would be somewhere around $3000 due to the distance and 9-12MPG I will be facing. Again, I am on a limited time frame here as this came about unexpectedly, so if I have done something wrong here, I do not want to, so please let me know. If no one is interested that is fine too, I am just trying to find out and help out as this is the only trip I will have taken this year due to work constraints and I missed out back in May when they were almost $800 cheaper!

Tim 928-600-1161 is my cell, I used to live in Flagstaff in case you are wondering about the area code.

I don't need 4bt and i don't think you are doing anything wrong or the moderator would be all over you. Now if you was commercial and doing this for a living then there would be a problem.

Glad to hear it!

I certainly don't do this for a living, it is too much of a pain to do this more than once!! I'm a field mechanic for a heavy construction company in Chandler and we are in between job sites which is allowing me this opportunity. I'm also stopping for a day to see my grandma who has cancer, so I'm thankful for that. It doesn't look like anyone is interested so far. Hey Bob, my uncle bought some lots up there in Concho last year, but they haven't done anything with them yet. I'm just curious as to how you like it up there and if it is growing anywhere near as fast as Showlow is?

Tim

Tim - Growing but not as fast as the immediate Show Low area. We are actually in what is call Concho Valley, well actually 5 miles west of there so the Apache County calls us West Concho Valley.
