4B into '02 1500

2000 Dodge 3/4 ton 2wd to 4wd conversion

I'm thinking of using a 4" exhaust on my 4bt conversion. Is that too big? Should I go with something smaller? Also, I may have to move the A/C compressor to the fuel pump side. Anyone know of any brackets I could use?

Thanks.

What are you putting it into? It's common on a Ford Cummins conversion to move the AC compressor to the left side on top of the intake manifold. As far as brackets to relocate it go, a 4BT may be able to use the same arrangement as used on the 6BT which is available from FordCummins and possibly other sources. The type of injection pump you have may make a difference in brackets. I fabbed my own bracket for my Ford Cummins conversion. I can send pics if you PM me with your email address. I was able to utilize one belt to turn all the accessories where it is common practice to use a separate belt for the AC.
