4bt: HY35W and oil filter housing fit

I'm having an interference fit between my HY35W and the stock oil filter mounting. Does anyone who has the horizontal filter mounting care to do a swap? The horizontal element mounting would place the filter below my turbo intake and solve my problem. Someone who has the horizontal element style unit may benefit from this becasue oil does not spill out of filter when spinning off during oil change.

Filter Head Option

We (Cummins) do sell a remote filter head too. It was for the 12 V, but will work on a 24 V if the correct oil cooler is used... .



It gives you even more options. Check with the local Cummins distributor, or drop me a line.

How much is that remote filter head? I might consider it for my Ford conversion if things get a little tight in there.
