What power steering line do I use?
The pump is a saginaw, like most GM, the line end that goes in it is the reduced tube with step and O-ring, the PS gearbox end is a double flare.
A normal early bronco PS line is double flare at GB and @ 1/2" fitting.
I have two choices: Find a line that works or modify a GM line.
I practiced on steel line, and was able only to get a single flare, the steel tube is just too hard for double flaring. I could take the line and have a machine double flare it.
Buying a new line will be cheaper than having a hyd shop do a double flare.
Has anyone found a line that is bolt on?
