1971 Ford camper special repower

What have you guys tried for cures for engine vibrations on the Cummins 3. 9 ? Has anyone tried a Fluidamper or a stock 6B damper? Cummins has a countershaft option that mounted under the crank, but is expensive ( as in thousands  ) and requires a center sump oil pan. Has anyone ever seen one of these in action? Shadrach

I am running a Fluidamper. It helped some. My truck is not to bad as far as vibration. I used some marine style motor mounts that where designed to help tame vibration. Rear view and side mirrors are stedy as a rock. I get some vibration up the steering colum that i dont like.

Did you use the 12v Fluidamper? At what RPM are the vabrations? Just at an idle or? What RPM do you idle at? I have a friend who wants to put one in a Toyota. I saw one the other day in an old GMC and it was okay except at an idle. He coudn't turn up the RPM too much as he has an auto. Shadrach

I used the 12v dampner. My vibration is only at idle. And when i get to about 900 rpm she is a smooth as silk.
