The outer edges of my 19.5's were wearing. They never did that on my 2nd Gen. I decided to take it in and get it aligned with the Thuren specs. Now and then prior to the alignment she would get a little vibration, did a lot of searching and no one seems to have figured it out on the 4th Gens. After the alignment, there is a certain spot on the highway that seems to induce the vibration which is about a 7% downgrade with a curve going about 75mph. A slight vibration still occurred in that spot but barely noticeable.

The real surprise, and I know it is just the EVIC, but it read .9mpg higher than it ever has in the last 3 years.

Since around 2013 I have preached on DRW trucks to have the Toe set to 1/64". This eliminates the dreaded outer edge "STEPPING".
Be sure to rotate the fronts side to side keeping the rotation the same placing the outside to the inside. Leave the rears alone!

My dealer aligned my 2017 Ram 5500 after adding 2.5" lift and 34.4" tires... It drives super! They sell new trucks with lift kits with full warranties. My primary vehicle is my 5500 now, since I drag my Jeep lots of miles behind MH and associated trips on the road. I can let go of the steering wheel and she stays straight. Alon with my new programming, its way fun to drive... 12,200Lb quiet BEAST. Powerful quiet is super cool.

I rotate the inside rears and the spare and swap, swap outside rears side to side, and fronts side to side. I rotated al 7 tires on my 02 Ram 3500 4x4, and on my 09 Ram 4500 prior to upgrading to 4 aluminum wheels. ALMOST bought 7 each 6.75" powder coated black steel wheels on my 5500 so I could rotate all 7 tires., but this is my SHINEY truck, so no front to rear rotation.

Anyhoo, glad I picked my dealer to do the work and glad y'all have a process that works best for you.

Cheers, Ron

A couple of questions;
did you mean to say before the alignment you had a vibration, and it was diminished after?
What are "Thuren" specs?
SRW or dually and why would it matter?

Simple said, Thuren spec is what a life axle with T steering is set all over the world.

Zero Toe and 3-5° Caster.

No one knows why Dodge decided to invent a new alignment for that.

yes I had a sporatic vibration before hand that was diminished after
Turen specs are 0.0 toe and 3.2 to 4.8 deg caster (as I recall)
mine is DRW, I dont see how it would matter.
