I considered Bob's kit also. But if the motor on the axle goes bad, the vacuum kit will not work. I don't know of any of these going bad on a Dodge, but have two friends that lost them on Jeeps. JC

Consider me the first... :rolleyes:



Vac leak was causing delayed CAD engagement = banging in front end. I ended up cracking the snap ring inside of the transfer case resulting in requiring a rebuild.
 
get the kit

I have the Pacbrake 2 low kit in my truck and it's is a HUGE difference. My trailer is triple axle 33' & 12,000lbs. and has to be backed over a curb and into a fairly tight spot. I just put the truck into 4 low and then flip the switch in the cab (which is labeled and lights up when engaged) and the front diff dis-engages. The kit comes with everything needed including a lit switch and solenoid and vacuum manifold. The maneuverability and control is worth every penny of the quality kit. :cool:
