4x4 front end align specs for friend...

Used to have the front end specs (Shooter's used em) and since the "search" is off can't locate them. If someone (Shooter??) could send me the link (thought it was on the Ram Page site) or post it here - would be mucho appreciated... (for the earlier years 93-01 approx). Know it had a different offset than the book specs but it cured the wander/looseness for the 4x's.

Search is as dead as my lift pump. I can not locate thread. Specs are written in repair manual. search for repair manual has been fruitless. I'll post if/ when I find manual.

Wyojim,I'l try those specs monday am to see if I can get mine to steer. It hasn't steered right and wanderd since new.

It's been on the alignment rack before but it was within spec.

Right now it needs a trackbar and 2 tie rods.

After changing them we'll line it up.

After the going in I'm going truck shopping for Dad so it will be at least 200miles beforeI get home. That should be a good short test to see if it works.

I hope it doesn't snow to much tonight. {that could make it hard to tell},but if it will stay on the road it will be an improvment on it's own!

I'm also going to see if we can tighten up the steering box.

for the info and I beleive the one that I am/was looking for was on the 'old' Fritz's ram site. If anyone has the link to that one it still would be appreciated.



This info seems to be the same but not sure. I think it had some other info about the problems with the steering 'wander' an maybe was 2 pages long.

Today we did the trackbar thing and the tie-rods. After that we did an allingment and my truck is by no means better.

The front end shop couldn't get to the specs' posted here before and I will need a few parts extra parts to get to the spec.

My truck still wanders very bad!

The parts I need are new adjuster on the toe-in rod. {mine is seized even with a 4 ft pipe,}

Adjustable eccentric sleeves for both top ball joints.

After all that here is my specs that I started with, and ended up with for now.

Would the toe make it wander that bad being off just at . 12 when spec is . 00 -. 10?

Does anybody have the part #'s for the adjustable eccentric's?

I got to get this sorted out because I was so po'd A duradud got a likken from me in the drivers seat!

And yes that thing would steer.
