Amigos - I'm having the D60 rebuilt for the front of my '78 440-powered Ramcharger and while it's open I'm having a new Eaton electric differential locker installed. It's a new manually-activated push-button e-locker that locks only when you want otherwise the diff is open. For a front diff (at least for me) this is perfect, as the rear is a lim-slip. I'm also having one installed in the D60 dually front diff going under the Diesel. Granted steering get's a little dicey when the front is locked, but I figure it this way - if either truck is in 4wd, and the terrain is that bad, I want the front two tires diggin' hard to get out of whatever I'm in, and the e-locker is a push-button activation so it's super simple, and only one wire going to the diff - that's it.
More to follow as it gets done, and I'll get some pics.
