Missing Vacuum line to line connector.
Was driving through TX and murdered a few tumbleweeds. Noticed yesterday that I think ones of those buggers may have taken out one of my vacuum line connectors next to the trans. Google and Ama$on aren’t helping me source it. It is one of the two vacuum line connectors just in front of the trans that lead to the 4x4 disconnect.
Thanks

Some have also deleted it and installed a more reliable posi-lock option. It's on my list. The vacuum can sometimes freeze up in cold weather. https://4x4posi-lok.com/app_dodge.html
Yup, had all sorts of trouble with my vacuum on my old ‘95. installed this and would have been great if I had taken their recommendation to purchase the additional fork. I worked most of the time but started poppin out when getting on it hard in 4 wheel drive. I assumed it was the wear on the old fork nylon pads.

Mine kept popping out due to water getting sucked into the diaphragm. After a few more failures, I went with the Posi-lok. It worked flawlessly. I recently pulled it out and went with a one-piece 35 spline axle and eliminated the CAD all together. I paid around $200 for the Posi-Lok. I may be willing to pass on the Posi-Loc for shipping and a case of beer.

Could try repairing the one that broke and then possibly enclosing both in a soft copper line secured to engine pan, allowing slack for suspension travel enclosed in flexible wire loom?

What'd you end up doing? Just wondering because I was checking engine compartment electrical connections and don't you know I broke a plastic hose about ⅛" from a rubber elbow. It was one on lip above firewall by cowl and pretty sure it works HVAC doors, I thought friggin awesome if I can't fix I'm either going to freeze or sweat. I got lucky and was able to pull about ¼" of the plastic tube from the elbow and slide a small clear hose over both plastic pieces and heat shrink overlapping areas then backup the piece in the elbow with a wire tie. Everything works, thankfully..

I had fixed that line so many times, I had to run a new line the last time. Fortunately I have open access through the top of my dashboard. :D
