Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) #5 & 3000 Gsk ?

What do you think about this combo for now? {#5 plate & 3000 GSK] Cant spend the money for the ATS quite yet. I don't drive the truck hard or pull allot of weight so do you think the stock trans will last for a while. The fluid has been changed every 30k [Dexron lll ]. I just flushed it and added a DD pan. No problems ever with the trans. Got some Christmas money and i've GOT to spend it

Sure, that's not too harsh of a combo... but that's where the bug starts

#10 and 3K's is a better combo, just depends on how you set it up!

How can a # 10 be a better plate. It is a 200/550 HP & torque rating. The #5 is 255/650. Are you talking about a # 10 with the 330/750 rating. Wouldn't't that trash the trans.
