5/6 speed swap from 47RE

Has anyone done a swap from automatic to manual (5 or 6 speed)? Was it as much of a pain as it seems?

Anything is possible. If you have access to a wrecked truck it will be easier to accomplish. You will need at the minimum - transmission,clutch assy,flywheel,clutch linkage,shifter,etc. And possibly a new computer for the engine to tell it there is no longer an auto behind it. I would think that with the money spent for the conversion you could have a decent down payment for a stick truck.
