5.7 Gas to 12V 3rd gen

What are the structural changes that seperate the 3rd gen 4X4 Gas truck from a 3rd gen HD diesel 4X4?



The ones that have crossed my mind on short notice are the front springs, front core support and obviously the drivetrain.



The plan is to find a cheaper, high mileage gas truck and transplant a refreshed 12v with a built 47re behind it (from my 96).



Let me know what any of you have encountered.

I was reading swap posts and noticed one about the hydroboost. can a hydroboost pump from a 24V be used on the newer system?
