a friend of mine is getting a 93 ctd

and front susp from a 4x4 1993

trans i think is a a/t anybody have advise



on dodge 93 frount susp to the ford 2x4 1 ton

Just something to think about

Consider this. Use the existing one ton 2WD coils and towers from the Ford and adapt them to the Dodge front axle. You would have to also build a pair of three or four link radius arms and a trac bar to keep it centered. The longer the better on the radius arms to allow smooth suspension travel.



Of course, by using the Dodge front axle, you would also have to continue the "theme" by using an early Dodge transfercase,(1993 or learlier NP205) since the front pumkin is on the passengers side.



I noticed that you are from Placerville Calif... . You haven't by any chance run into a fellow (probably from a fabrication shop, by the name of Mike bolton. & tell Kate and Ollie Olson that Dennis Webster, from the Phoenix 4 Wheelers, says hi!



The 70 Furd sounds like a fun project.
