The goal is not always more peak power but more sustained power. If you can lower egts to the poin that you can add more fuel safely then you are gaining a lot.

Have you checked the forum you're in? This is the 1st gen forum. Not the one for those over-valved computer controlled contraptions they call cummins engines now. :-laf The original question was domething to the effect of do I need one of these? to which the answer is still no.



And I don't care what you think, I'm pretty darn happy with my 290! :p

And I am impressed.



When I was young, I did that sort of thing and if I get old and rich, I hope to do it again. I didn't have the tools that he obviously has. Now I do but alas, no time.



This is indeed the first gen forum and he is clearly working on a later engine but I really like the way this.
