. If you have a motor that will flow more than the manifold you will gain considerably.
The goal is not always more peak power but more sustained power. If you can lower egts to the poin that you can add more fuel safely then you are gaining a lot.

Have you checked the forum you're in? This is the 1st gen forum. Not the one for those over-valved computer controlled contraptions they call cummins engines now. :-laf The original question was domething to the effect of do I need one of these? to which the answer is still no.
And I don't care what you think, I'm pretty darn happy with my 290!
