5" Backspace to little?

I was looking at some AR wheels 17x8 they have +12mm Offset, 5. 0" Backspace.

Will they stick out to far? I think it would set them 1" out past the OEM wheels.

I don't want to be to hard on my ball joints or bearings.

When I was looking for rims the advice that I got was to stay w/ OEM back space because Dodges are not forgiving of too little back space when it comes to tire rub w/ 35 inch tires.



I don't know if that is true or not but I went w/ 17 x 8. 5 rims w/ 6 inch back space w/ 34 inch tires and I have no problems. Just my 2 cents.
