It is a Donaldson M100463. It has 5" inlet and outlet and is 10" in diameter and 51" in length. It can be bought at any big rig shop that can get Donaldson mufflers. When I first made this system I tried running straight piped but it was far tooooo raspy and tin-ny. Almost reminded me of a ricer with a deeper tone. So I went to Exhaust Flow Systems and had them look up the highest flowing muffler with 5" inlet and outlet and they came up with two different # numbers. M100463 and M090535. Both are used primarly in Offroad aplications so they won't make the truck super quiet. They are the same muffler but the M100463 is 1" larger in diameter so its rated attenuation is from 13 - 18 dBA while the M090535 is 12-17 dBA. I was just looking for something that took that nasty raspiness away. This was the ticket. It toned down the truck slightly and got rid of that rasp. Yet still sounds great.

Heres the specs on them.

Thats cheap I just spent almost 70 on a Dynomax and its only 16in long. Im just going to use it for a resonator on my 4" system. Locking to kill the drone demon.

You guys have post some nice exhaust systems.

I am about to build my own starting from my 4" downpipe, I am running about 8' section of 4" piping to the rear end, then fitting a 5"/4" reducer to run 3' of 5" flex pipe over the rear end and keep the bends smooth as can be and then running a 3' long 7" slash cut chrome stack to finish it up out the rear like the stock is. The 7" stack has a 5" O. D. end on it so I will have to bolt it with a 5" I. D. to I. D. coupler.

The system will be completely bolt on. You can get the exhaust from any big rig shop.

well, i went to berubes today and pieced together a 5" exhaust with a small muffler/resonator... i'll get some pics shortly. pretty happy with the way it came out, though the bark is gone, i can hear the turbo more. and it's nice to have a little control with the sound while being able to make it loud. it still has the nice deep sound without the raspiness, however, it sounds more hollow than i expected (from hearing other mufflered and non mufflered 5" systems).
