5" Diamond Eye exhuast tubro back install

Well on saturday i installed a 5 inch diamond eye, turbo back kit. all in all it was not to hard. but there were some snags. first the 5 inch down pipe had to be "hoged ouy" to slip over the cast elbow off the turbo. that took some effort. then we had to take out the trans dipstick then reistall it after, due to the bracket that holds the sipstick to the bellhousing was getting in the way. and it still vibrates against the down pipe afterwards so i just had to bend it alittle.



The sound is great! There is a little drone when in OD and going slow. but nothing that i cant live without. even the wife likes it!

You're the 1st and only person here that I ever seen/post, that the Wife was happy about a Mod,

All the others freak-out.



Maybe the next one will be the Amsoil bypass filter, convince her that you wont have to change the oil every 2,500 miles and with it you could go 25,000 +

she thinks the by pass filter and extra fuel filter are good things. What little she understands about how engines work she thinks its a good idea. then again she is a major in astro physics, and i had to tell it would be cool if the filters got THAT small... ... .....

My wife would be happy with that mod on my truck just because I would actually have a muffler on one of my trucks!
