5" drone help

I have a 06 Mega with a 5" turbo back magnaflow system. We installed a magnaflow cat and also put a 5" flex from EPI at the end of the down pipe. Resonation @ 1900-2300 is unbearable . I have a 5" donaldson resonator to try but not sure if that will help any or if I should nix that and just put in a 51" donaldson muffler. Anyone out there with any recommendations??

I dont have any recomendations but I would like to know what you find that helps. I also have 5" on my 06 quad long and on long trips the drone can get anoying but Im used to it around the city. Good luck and keep us posted on what you find out.

I went back to a 4" T-304 system after 6 months of drone agony!

I'd be interested to here your findings on resonator and/or the muffler.

I have the same system but without the flex pipe. Same rpm level and much worse when towing.

I had the same problem with my truck, before pulling the 5" for the stacks. I put on a Dynaflex resonator, and it got rid of the drone.



I pulled the resonator off as a check with the stacks, and needless to say, I haven't put it back on.

I tried the resonator..... no help. Got a 5" Donaldson x 51" muffler to try next .
