This is what I got coming home with the quad on. The engine temp just hit 90 *C when I hit the top of the hill, it sure isn't burning much fuel and this is with the rad half covered because of the - 7 *C temp !!! It was for awhile giving fairly good power above the 1400 rpm and only when it went over that rpm. I was starting to see why you guys rave about these engines. This is that lack of power that I have been experiencing since new. It is better then ( well sort of) then it has been. :eek: I just need to have a $100,000 a year job to fix this engine that came from the factory this way.
 
sounds like another lift pump problem. Those things go about every 50k miles or so and act just like that under a load.

Sorry not lift pump, I am on #7 lift pump so far and have gauges to watch the lift pump pressure. It is from some bad electrical componant that screwsup the signals to the vp44.
