Like alot of the other members, I too have the "Geno's"

5" chrome tip mounted on a DD 4" system. The tip

went on tight ("machine fit") and on my truck has

not moved at all. (No need to tack weld it)

I moved it in a little bit about two weeks ago by

hitting on the end of it with the flat side of a 2X4/

hammer. Sorry, no pictures... ...

I currently have Geno's tip. Its a good high quality heavy tip. It doesn't like ROAD SALT. After 2 winter's, it has rust pits. I scrubbed and polished the rust off, but you are left with a dull almost satin finish. Salt is tough on chrome. You guys in the salt belts don't weld your chrome tips on. I attached mine w 2 small screws. In a year or 2 , you'll need to pull it. I didn't want to have to grind till the cows come home :D. Nothing looks worse than a BIG rusty tip.

I was ready to just get another one from Geno's till I saw a 5" in S. S. :)

Can anyone tell me if the OEM exhaust pipe is 3" o. d. ? I just paid a visit to the www.magnaflow.com website and I was planning on using a 3"/4" stainless tip. Will go to larger dia pipe down the road.
