Have a "92 W250 that just started to have the 5th gear pop out all the time, especially when the oil gets warm. Any quick fixes for this or is this the BIG ONE???

Yep, it's the beginning of the end. Just as well have the ole guy fitted with bearings because it will only get worse. Thats the way mine started at about 175k, finally fixed it at 206k and has been fine since. Have 307k on the truck now.

what did you endup fixing? just bearings or more?what/where did you get your kit?
