Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 5-speed vibration

'99 24 valve 3500 does some moderate pulling 220,000 miles 5-spd has picked up vibration seems to be in 5th only. At 160,000 5th gear nut worked loose and you guys helped me with that. Peened nut and shaft refilled with new oil and no more problems! Till now wife said last weekend that had a funny noise at 55-60mph couldn't find anything but thought it was u-joint getting bad thought i'd replace them this weekend. While i was gone [truckdriver] son goes under truck and finds that front yoke[this is 2-wheel drivetruck] coming out of trans is loose as if a bearing or splines are worn out. truck is parked till i get home to look further. Anyone have an idea? someone will have to tell me how to use the smilies sometime grr not good at computer sorry craig
