To start off I guess I will say that there was no basic warranty coverage at 42k,no mention was made of a svc contract and I haven. t seen that tsb fix a slow window yet :-laf :-laf . There is also a tsb on Intrepid windows... ..... same thing it doesnt fix them, but a regulator will :D

Bob

what i have found to fix things is a call to an 800 number. i made two phone calls today. one was made to me first. i called the 1 800 number on the dodge site for issues. dealt with an automated service, and got ahold of a nice lady who was a GREAT help. she called the service manager and put us all on the line together. he didnt know anything of what had happened. i now have an appointment on next tuesday. it will be with the service manager himself. he will write up my issues and have a tech there with him. only problem i have to be there at 7am... (im not a baby, i work nights and get off at around 3:30am to 6:00am)

Hummm - a TSB on a problem that 2gen3gen, Turbo1Ton, and Bob4x4 all said to live with...

How's that crow a tastin'? :-laf

Easy there killer, don't go putting words in my mouth.

I never told him to live with it. I even empathized with him being picky about it.

I just gave reasons that the problem might exist. He said the problem was slow windows and then he gave the explanation that the windows don't go down at the exact same moment, that they are within fractions of an inch from it. I said that even if the dealer replaced everything the problem might still exist (windows not getting down at the EXACT same moment). I also stated that IMO you would be hard pressed to find any vehicle that would get all of the windows down at the same time.

Would I be picky about this, no. But I have been known to be even worse about other things. I just wanted him to consider that it could be things that are all within tolerance and just on one end of the spec. From his explanation it sounded like the dealer did a poor job of explaining anything to him. I thought that my explanation might be where the service advisor was coming from.

Ever since I read this post I've wanted to check mine. Of course I'm not sure I have the coordination to hold all of the window buttons down at the same time! :D

GW, sounds like you are getting somewhere. Good luck and keep us posted!
