5 Star Service???

Took my truck in for a clay bath to get the fallout off... I also mentioned that the rubber coaster in the cupholder was missing since I bought the truck. Just got a call from them and they said it's almost done and that the tech was just finishing putting in the new console... The story is that you can't get that rubber coaster... I really didn't want a new console, and especially didn't want their monkeys working on anything but a wash job!!!

Doesn't seem like anything wrong to me,they're just taking care of you. But I'm having a hard time believing you can't get the coaster separately.

I've found that the zero star dealers do the best work. Get modern guys, many farmers won't risk their prize bull servicing the cows, much is done with artificial insemination nowadays. Just like the five star screws you with his scan tool.

Why didn't they just take that little rubber piece out of the new console and drop it in yours? Cause they couldn't bill DC for 2 or 3 hours of labor if they did that.

Well, I was just venting before... Being in the auto repair business myself, I have to call a customer BEFORE I do any additional work... they didn't do that. And it turns out they lied to me anyway, they didn't install a new console, they ordered a new coaster, and didn't polish the roof. Just not going back there, that's all.

Bend over five times dealers before we void your warranty. I will save my money from now on and do the work myself and know that it is done properly.

IMO you better think about letting them wash your truck as a lot of damage to the finish can take place with one washing #ad

5 spit dealers SUCK,they think there too good,and don't need your business. No star dealers are the best,they wan't your business and will bend over backwards for it.

Here on the East Coast I have had pretty good luck with 1 dealer who is a 5 star dealer. It's Country Chrysler Plymouth Dodge in Oxford PA. They have given me free stuff to give out at my TDR gatherings and have never questioned anything about my truck. Service manager is the BEST!! But there are others close by that I wouldn't go to even if they paid me. They are horrible!!!

Thought I had the greatest dealer in the world when I was haveing power isuues with my truck and the dealer said to go ahead and put in after market injectors, we will just look the other way. guess what happened when I installed the after market injectors.

Wrong.

Right, VOIDED WARRANTY!!!!!
Now they do not have to try and resolve my issues any more.
Dodge has lost a valuable customer. In 25 years I have bought 1 Chrysler, 1 Plymouth, and 8 Dodges.
I should live another 25+ years since I am only 42. Guess who I will buy from in the future.
