Can I assume that the 6. 7 is also California legal? When I bought my '05 in Minnesota, it wasn't CARB legal.

Incomplete knowledge, but:



I believe Dodge builds units specifically for California sales, because I have seen separate categories on some TSB info-sites, ... "Fed" (Federal) and "Ca" (presumably California).



Beyond this I assume (!) that out-of-state vehicles operating in/through the state are not restricted by Ca. requirements. I'm sure other members can give the straight scoop.

The 6. 7 is CARB legal... . when the 07's and 07. 5's came out there was a separate calibration for CARB and FED, now there is just one calibration for each (pickup and cab chassis) that is 50 state legal.
