500-550hp!!!!!

Ok guys 05'-06' engine, twin turbos. What else do I need for 500-550hp that is reliable and steady? All the vendors have different opinions and I'm having a tough time weeding through them to get the info I need. I just want steady strong power for street and towing that's reliable. Some reccomend injectors (60HP) who makes the best ones? Fass 150/150? Downloads? Stacked? Thanks in advance for your input!

I say FASS 150, stock injectors, intake, gauges, exhaust, twin turbos, TST box and a Edge will do 550-600 all day long. bigger injectors will give you slightly more MPG and higher hp/tq

Same thing, twins, TST/pressure box, intake, exhaust, lift pump, and a transmission to transfer the power will make 550. A CP3 mod and injectors will probably give you 650-700 HP depending on how much air and fuel your setup consists of. What twin set up will you be running?

Twins, intake, exhaust are a given. transmission = 6 speed. Looking at Fass 150/150 (some concern as to noise), Trying to find who makes quality 60hp injectors for the newer motor. Considering BD twins (pricey!) Don't know what downloader(s) to use. I don't really need to climb past 600hp. Just want "non temperamental" reliability and longevity.

after seeing first hand a setup that works and works very well on an 04. 5 truck, tst, bddl, twins and thats it to get well over 500. stock exhaust, stock injectors, stock intake (other than filter for twins). i wouldnt stud it, just keep it under 50 psi and you will be fine. forget the injectors unless you get the a modded cp3 bc those 2 boxes stacked will drain the rail and you wont even be able to use the upper settings. my . 02

600HP does not equal longevity. That much horsepower is a lot of potential stress on many components, things will wear faster and break sooner.



600HP does not equal a non-tempermental daily driver. You'll need a pretty stout drive train and smoke control is likely to be an issue.



600Hp does not equal better towing performance. It equals lots of heat, more than your stock air charge and engine cooling systems can handle under sustained load.



I'm not saying you can't make 600HP, just that I don't think it is the answer to your other criteria. 300HP will ramp your truck onto the freeway in a hurry and competantly pull any load within your GVWR. 600HP is good for one thing - feeling the rush. As long as you turn the power down when you can't really use it, you might be ok, except for the longevity part

I'm willing to spend some money My original post stated 500-550hp, I know among other things the twins will "help" keep temps down. I was under the impression that lower hp injectors (60hp?) would when driven normally help increase mpg. I don't mind a little smoke I love the rush but don't need it as a constant.

Surely there has to be a set criteria that more than one person can agree upon to create what I'm looking for If I could find one vendor who wasn't "just" trying to sell but really wanted to help that would be good... we don't have any in Hawaii it's hard to trust those I can't stand right in front of and talk to.

Mine dynoed at 619 with a set of 100hp injectors,bddl w/crazy larry,htt 64 turbo,a dual disc clutch and a holly black pusher pump. You don't need the twins to get there!This is driven every day and also tows my boat with egt well in check.

i dynoed at 435/791 with no hot juice or sticks on stock fuel system since then i hot jucie bigger pump ats stage 1 100hp sticks and a crazy larry and i know im in 620-640 range. read the truck specs the twins i feel will make better flow
