Keith, is the head on your truck o-ringed? How much boost is the Jammer making?

Nope, just the mods listed above. Head hasn't been off it. 40psi.

TMinistro:

My 2002 Dodge CTD recently dynoed at 486 H. P. /950 Torque.

This was on a new Dynojet located at "Carolina AutoMasters"

in Durham, N. C.

As "jwilliams" said, you can look at my signature to see what

modifications I have. I realize it is not the 500 H. P. you are

exactly looking for, but a set of somewhat larger injectors

(such as the ATS 30% "jwilliams" has or the Bullydog 4's like

Ryan) would definitely put you at or above that "500" figure!

The injectors in my 2002 are a little under what they have.

Good luck!

500hp:

Mach3. 5/Mach4/MegaMentals

TST Competition box

B1 with small or large wheel and standard housing (I would go big wheel w/ that much fuel)

Or you can do twins, which would add 50hp and about $4k.

500HP with a VP is NOT difficult. Lots of guys have done it.

I don't see how some folks get off saying the VP is fuel limited when folks like Nathan are pushing 700hp with a stock pump...

NOw get a modded VP like DTR member battering Ram, and you'll be good for 750+ with the right twins.

A VP is perfectly capable of making the big power... .

Just like Big P said alot of great info, now just got to stock up my war chest for some bombs. Oh and by the way someone tell that other clown it's a diesel forum. Just like Mike said i would not let my son read it or see it. He's only 2 but when he gets in the truck he yells DIESEL POWER and laughs.

Just wait till he's old enough to tell the pinhead in the convertible next to you to "turn the boombox down or your gonna get smoked" like mine does. It is priceless! Then watch him laugh at the pinhead. :D

I did it on mine with

Bully Dog IIIs (100hp) Injectors

Edge Drag Comp

Twins (Boost Limited to <50lbs for stock HG)

SBC Con FE

5" exhaust (BHT3B Has 5" exhaust outlet)

Pusher Pump

Wildcat Max Flow Kit

I made 507rwhp and 1134 lb ft torque with no EGT issues

I was by no means pushing the twins hard and easily had enough air for my meager amount of fuel.

My PEAK EGT was 1330. While making a 0-120 m. p. h. run in 90 degree weather.

Wes

And here's a graph for those who are interested:

#ad

AFE Air Box

DD 4" exhaust

DD Ultimate Fuel Module (Drag version)

ATS 3pc manifold

Jammer Turbocharger

Jammer Stage 3 Injectors

Big Fuel Line Kit & Pusher Pump Kit

SB MU1947 Con FE Clutch

Gauges

KLockliear,

What are the Jammer stage 3 injectors rated horsepower wise? I know I am not at 500hp with the restricted box I am running, but where do you guys think I am horsepower wise.

But again.....

@ 4700' Elev.

I can dyno on the Mustang dyno @ Edge Products and get 409 HP and 989 ft/lbs.

On Phantom Performances Dynojet I can dyno 503 HP and 1089 ft/lbs.

You mean there is that big of a difference between the dynos?

I think that is common on the load style dyno's. It seems that 400hp or so is about the limit for traction for them. Beyond that, the more power you make, the less it shows as the tires just slip sooner.

I guess that a Dynojet dyno reads HP levels at sea level, and a mustang dyno will read true HP levels at the current elev.

I am sure someone else has experienced this when dynoing at higher altitudes.

I am going to try to dig up some of my dyno sheets to post.
