512 HP, 934 TQ -- And I was WASTED by a rusted out Taurus.

because my shifter snapped off between second and third gear. Talk about embarassing.



I nailed it in 2nd gear 4x4, lots of smoke, the usual. Then, a quick shift to third and I ended up punching the dash and the gear shift dropped to the passenger side floor. What a sight. My wife and I were both laughing pretty histarically for a few minutes. DOH!



The "nut" assembly right at the bottom of the shifter shaft snapped in half. I guess I'll have to try to get another one of these. The dealer doesn't stock them, so I'll have to look around a bit.

I think the SHO stands for "Super High Output" but I am not sure.

The SHOs are quick, about even with a slow 5. 0, but like he said above, he had 'em beat till he snapped the shift lever off. I think he needs to let his wife shift so he doesn't break it again:-laf Though, I think it would freak me out to if I punched the dash shifting too hard... .
