Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 53 block and MODS?

Of you that have fixed their 53 block by stitching... how many have had alot of mods done to their trucks . . any problems with the crack re-appearing?

My '99 is all stock, and I pinned the block in Feb, and today I am picking up a replacement motor for the truck. The block started to leak again in July, and over this last weekend, I could see water pouring out the side.
