Not positive on the start and stop but I know '99's have them

Nearly all of them have a chance, but mostly up to 01. My 01. 5 has a 55, guess I got lucky!!!

I've seen them from 99 to early 02. I had a 53 block, now I've got a 56, "just say no to crack"... ..... Jim

How Do you tell where do i look, I sold my ford and i am looking for a dodge and i don't want to buy a hunk of crap 53.

some of the 98 12v engines have 53 blocks, but they are more common in 99-01 and some 02's

Left front corner of the block right above the oil pan rail. You can see it from underneath, 1" tall letters, can't miss it.
