Bill, I'm primarily interested in pics showing quality vs poor block casting. Lots of pics of cracks and coolant leaks but I'm trying my best to prevent that, lol. In either case, its probably something that would have happened already given the age of the truck. Cheers everyone!

Does anyone have a 53 block in a truck that was assembled in Mexico? Just wondering because I thought I read that all the 53 blocks were made in another counntry (Brazil?) Would be a fast way to check when buying if it turned out that there were no 53s assembled in Mex.

Blocks mfg in Brazil via Cummins that just for the engine, the trucks were assembled in US and MEX for Dodge.

Cummins supplied the engines to Dodge.
