I talked with Ash at Edge Products today. Like others on some of the other threads have stated, Ash also told me that the production 555 Juice with Attitude is now available! Oo.

Very cool. Now that she's "Out of the Closet", who knows some real numbers on the box?



What does Edge claim the HP/TQ numbers to be?

What Dyno "certified" numbers does it put down?



I'm excited about this LONG anticipated device, but am not going to burn my hand reaching for my wallet until I see some numbers to justify it.

Well, I think the 555 juice is a 100hp module - Though my shipping box said 125hp. . Could have been a generic box though



If I remember correct, the tq was around 250
 
We will get the first batch of boxes tomorrow. Taking orders now for them, as we don't expect them to sit around. :)



Edge claims 100hp/250ft-lbs gain. The dyno graphs that I have seen from them were 125hp/260ft-lbs. We will dyno it ourselves as soon as we can.
 
You guys (Tomey & Keith) are certainly two reliable sources. I kind of figured that DD had some dyno graphs. I was hoping that they (or at least the info from them) could now be released to those of us who weren't fortunate enough to BETA test the units. 125/260 is pretty dang respectable. I'm of course most interested to see numbers related to "my" set-up (just like everyone else will want to know how it performs with "their" set-up): stock turbo, hi-flo intake, 4" exhaust. Does the stocker turbo like the juice or not I wonder? Will the box have to be tempered like the TST (not that that is a bad thing), or can you pump it up and not worry?

yada yada... y'all know all the questions... same ones every time a new box is released.
 
It has all the same features as the 600 Juice/Attitude. So EGT backdown will limit the EGT's where you set it, or you can turn it off.
 
Oh yeah, that's true... Duh. I knew that. The anticipation built from two years of waiting has clouded rational thinking.

And still trans slip protection I believe To defuel when the transmission slips (not that I had mine active :-laf )

Yes, the 555 juice does all three, pressure, timing, and duration



BUT I heard it only does pressure till 2200ish rpms, or until 47% load

Then all timing/pressure after that...
 
Ok, so I'm getting ready to take the leap. I've got an '03 with the 48RE and I pull a 4 horse LQ gooseneck - looking for some more towing power (and fun factor on demand around town).



How does this sound:

Edge/Attitude

MBRP aluminized exhaust (4")

Stainless tip (good for 100 hp, right?)

AFE high flow filter



Think I'll be needing a trans temp gauge - true?

Anything else you guys would recommend?

Need a fuel pusher kit of some kind. The stock lift pump won't supply enough fuel.

if 100 hp is all it does with all three, I'll stick with my TST and stack a press. box on it @ double the hp.
 
Ok, newbie here to mods - is a pusher necessary? What are suggested options for a setup like mine?



Since I'm looking for only modest gains, I may be better served with an EZ, exhaust, gauges. I start getting nervous when I start reading the threads on upgrades beyond the simple plug & play. Goals with the truck are longevity and a little more towing power - EZ? Kinda like the attitude box...

LAXCummins if you don't have guages yet, think about getting the Juice/Attitude, just run the Edge on the lower settings if you can control yourself. :D
 
It's ashamed they took so long. I've been running the TST for quite some time now and gotta say the power is incredible. 100 hp ain't enough. The TST gave me over 160hp on 5/5.
