Is the Hot Juice upgrade for the 03-04 trucks out yet? I am looking to get a juice w/ attitude and would like the hot upgrade. It looks like people have been running it for a couple of months so it should be ready for Christmas right!

Yes, it is available. However, I think you have to purchase the standard Juice with Attitude, and then since you are a TDR member, you can send it to Edge for the Hot upgrade free of charge. You do have to sign a waiver to get the Hot programming.

What is the differnece in max power between the standard Juice and the Hot Juice w/ Attitude?

Also is it ok to run two pyro probes side by side in the exhaust manifold as I'd like to keep my Issapro analog Pyro and stick the Attitude above the rearview.

Thanks.

Cummins4wd, I've heard that the hot juice is supposed to be anywhere from 150-180 hp(depending on the source). Judging by the seat of the pants feel, it is a very big difference. The old level 5 is like 'that's pretty strong' and the new level 5 is like 'holy shiz!' It smokes a lot more, but it is a real strain on the stock turbo and transmission, the truck pulls very hard, but the turbo and transmission seem real fragile now if you are hot-roddin.

Great thread, I'm in the market for one of these as well, Without buying any other accessories, how does it mount to the dash? Does anyone have any pictures? I see Autometer has an A-piller mount. How much does it stress the transmission? I have the 48Re, is there anything I will need to do to it?

Thanks for any help,

Navy Mike

Unfortunately, the standard mount system for the Juice with Attitude is not the best. I proceeded to make my own mount. Here are a couple of pictures:

A standard Juice is all your 48RE is going to handle and your transmission will not like too much of the 5x5 setting. ;)

What is the main diff between the Hot Juice and the standard?

Does the Hot come on lower, or faster. Something other than max hp?

I have a stock 48RE and am looking for something with some low end power for towing and street/pedal feel. About 100hp is max though (I think) because of my transmission.

What sre your opinions on a mostly stock truck?

Thanks.

My suggestion is to go with the Standard Juice and then do the RokkTech crank sensor or the Tone Ring Mod.

Do a search and you will find infor on both.
