I think it was in one of the Owner/Operator truck mags I read that. We talking about mpg on the big rigs and the key was to watch your boost guage.

I average 22+ on my daily commute, I check every fill up & keep all my fuel receipts.

The truck got 19-20 stock with 4. 10 gears driving 65mph. I do live at sea level & it's mostly flat here, my drive is mostly hwy. After bumping the timing, taller tires, better exhaust & swapping to a 3. 54 rear I get a worst of 21. 5 empty (when I play some) & my best commuting mileage so far is 22. 99. I was getting 12-16 towing my travel trailer (prior to the DZ turbo) depending on traffic, winds & how impatient I am to get there. My mileage has picked up pulling my lowboy & I'm anxious to see how this turbo affects my TT pulling mileage. These are not from a computer readout but from corrected odometer readings (33" tall tires) & gallons used. I have no reason to strech the numbers, I'd keep it just because I love the way it lets me relax pulling the TT.

Yeah, I usually get around 26mpg in the city and 32mpg on the highway! Just kidding! That was for you, DKarv. Actually, I get at least 19mpg in the city with a little towing and I've seen up to 24. 7mpg on two tanks of highway. That's not driving for mileage either. If I drove like an old man I could get a couple more in the city. Believe it or not!
