I've stripped out the drivetrain from my 59 suburban
I bought and already dismantled a 1992 dodge cummins 350 4x4 with std trans.
The axles are in the Suburban a 70 in the back with 2001 1/2 ton z71 springs with airbag assist when I tow. the 60 in the front with 1995 big block suburban springs in the front with an extra 2 inch arch. I used the dodge steering box- adapter plate and a 69 chevy truck column with a borgeson shaft the engine and trans-transfercase are going in next.
I'm trying to figure out how to wire the setup. I've got a different Alt already so I don't have to rely on the computer to excite the field on the stock unit but I don't know what to do about the heater has anyone had any luck using a different style timer? I'm not to excited about using a momentary switch to the solenoids.
does anyone know of any other difficulties I may run into by simplifying the wiring?
