Hey guys and gals,

I recently installed an EDGE universal pressure sensor in my H&S intake horn. I am using an AUTO METER Boost pressure sensor that reads 0-60psi because the edge 0-100psi i don't feel works correctly because the threaded length is much shorter.

My question to you is that is it even REMOTELY possible to hit 59psig using the stock turbo? I would like to think that i got a miss read from the sensor but over the past few days I will really get on it heading home and i can hit (according to edge insight) 40-54psig pretty easily but only for a split second. (Im thinking sensor delay).

I am going to install my edge sensor and see if that makes any difference and maybe the auto meter sensor is going bad?

Are you able to set the value of the sending unit in the calibration settings? I'm thinking a mismatch in the sending units.

I will have to check into this. My edge turbo boost pid. Maxes out at. 36.2psi but I have seen this auto meter sensor using the intake horn get as high as 59. 60 max. Is a little concerning but if you are telling me that it is a measurement of both MAP and Boost then it makes sense as to why it is so high. It sure as hell doesn't feel like 60lbs of boost. Lol.*

If it reads zero with engine not running it isn't reading MAP it is only reading boost. Most likely is v/psi needs to be set.

Looks like I need to look into the edge my style stuff and adjust the settings on it until I get the right readings?*

Again I am using the edge universal sensor input wiring harness with the accessories kit, an AUTO meter 0-60psi gauge (came with H&S intake used off craigslist) and the edge insight CTS.*

Try looking for the rated voltage curve for your sensor the calibrate the edge. Alternatively build a test fixture with a mechanical gauge and the sensor, pressuring with an air compressor. Once you have the curve, calibrate the edge. Trying to do it while driving is least accurate way to do it.
