Have '99 3500 4x4 5spd. with 67,000 miles that is becoming very difficult to shift. Just Amsoiled it,but no help. Checked fluid level in slave cyl. -OK. Is this a bad clutch symptom, anyone experience similar problem?
I also have a hard time shifting my 5spd into gear. Mine is mainly 3rd gear(very often) and sometimes 5th gear. I have 82,000mi on mine. See sig below... . What could be causing this? Fastcoolers are on the way from Piers along with 2 gallons of Syntorq from Standard Transmission. I'll see if they make any difference.
mine was hard to shift. it finally wouldn't shift into gear at all. that was in Dallas traffic pulling 8k. i went to put it into 4th and it wouldn't go. it wouldn't go into anything. had to coast off freeway.
the needle bearings in the pilot bearing had disintegrated.
