Why: Because we can!

Ladies and Gentlemen, this will be our 5th annual dyno day at Hi Tech! I can't believe it's been THAT many years already! Last year the HIGH Horsepower award was within tenths of eachother! This year I hope SOMEONE maxes out the Torque side of the dyno! Remember Guys with Training Wheels, the outside dual may have to come off! There will be tools there that day.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Josh

Ha ha ha, training wheels. :)

I dynoed there with the chubbies a few months back, things more MUCH quicker now with the in floor dyno. There's air flow now as well courtesy of some massive fans. And a nice room to chill and watch the rollers.

hmm, has anyone considered what is to be done about the limited parking? Their area is much smaller over all as far as parking spots.

Hmmm. I may be able to make this one... I'll see who else I can get to go...

you better show up! :-laf I am going to run the rollers again this year as I sat out last due to no changes to the truck. Hopefully my truck will be up to the task. That is if I can even get it there. I am sure you have seen my thread over on PS in the Dodge section. I think its trying to kill me. :-laf:{

I should be able to make it. It is the weekend before rally this year.

Would be nice to have some new parts on the truck to try out, but so far I haven't found any free go-fast parts... . Except for stickers... . :-laf

Oh, you will have your truck done, at least you better. If I can make it you can. Still gotta talk Josh into going up there, he thinks he has to go hunting that day for some reason... :-{}

Josh better come, tell him if he dont I will drive my *** to his house and drag his pile all the way there, even if that means with a chain and him not even in it... :-laf:-laf:-laf

My truck is now DRIVEABLE! wohoo! got Dons steering stablizer on today and wala, no more death wobble! Dont know if I will have the new rear end in or not by then though. Kinda curious is 3:73s will give me more, or less power when it comes to the rollers. Thinking it might help a little as with the 35" tires, I would think it might help a little. Who knows. Looking forward to this, should be lots of fun like it has every year so far.

Was curious, is HighTechs dyno capable of AWD vehicles? I have a friend that might come that has a AWD Denali he would like to Dyno.

Sorry... no AWD. Just RWD... or FWD.

I'm going to brake the 500HP and 1000# mark! I'm sure of it! :) I suspect 525, maybe 545.

Trucks dialed in on the street well and I hope I can get a day to get to the 1/4 mile tracks to get some fine tuning in as well prior to dyno day!

Also, my financial situation is a whole bunch better with a new job starting in 2 weeks. So Turbo and what not will be on before I know it. :) I want a 62, maybe a 64 turbo and a CP3 upgrade ASAP.

Jason, let us know what you want/need. Spicy, TurboTweaker and I are more than happy to help you out with that stuff.

That goes for anyone. If any of you guys are looking for parts, let us know.

Josh

Triple D Performance

No problem. I may or may not wanna tackle a turbo swap. Tho, I'll demand to help! :) . Never done one before. Doesn't appear to be to hard, however a lack of tools is my other main concern.

Tho, unfortunately, a set of EGR brakes are going in first to correct the lack of stopping power. something ya need if you wanna run over 100mph. :)

Damn no AWD dyno :( ... dont know if the clutch will be in the CTD by then so it might not be ready to dyno and obv. cant run the Denali with no AWD, but I might be able to show up and watch, trying to see if I can step away from the farm and dealership for a few days to run to Bikeman Performance in Osceola, WI and get my sled dyno tuned with the new 800BB kit, and would hit up the dyno day on the way there or back.

Just remember Bikeman is in East Famington right off of hwy 35, south of Osceola, north of Somerset, WI, I let out a lot of smoke at them as I drive buy... ... ... lol. Isn't Randy still running his dyno in Alexandria, MN anymore? I had my sled up there a few times having him getting the clutch and such dialed in, just can not remember the name of the place I am drawing a blank... ... ... anyway we ran the dyno after hours and had a few cold ones while doing so. Ugh! I can think of the shops name right now..... when it comes to me I will let you know.
