Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 5th gear nut fix in Ventura, CA...

Well, surprise -surprise I dropped 5 th gear and need to get it fixed. Can anyone recomend a shop/mechanic around Ventura, CA to fix this? I am working too much, and do not want to take the time to do it myself. Browns on Vta Ave wants a bit much ballpark around a grand. Any others? TIA, Jason

Could be wrong, but I don't remember the dealer being that expensive. Have you ck'd the dealer?



Mine dropped one night, I showed up @ 7am the next morning, they fixed it that day.
