New vented 5th wheel tailgate

Bertram65,

It sounds liked your hitch is like My Draw-Tite. There are four holes, two on each side of the frame bolting the bracket that sits on top of the frame, the same dia. you mention. They are only drilled on one side of the frame (outer). This Co. also has a Trailer brake control named Draw/Tite. its a duplicate of the Prodgy. Seems like some of these Co's are merging.

For a cleaner setup, go with the B&W. Only problem is their tow rating is lower than most. I think like 18K for 5th wheels (30K for gooseneck though). But most people don't tow this much anyway. The B&W turnover ball will set you back about $330 + shipping, then you will need the companion attachment and I think those go for around $750 or so. I'm not 100% on the price of the companion but you can go to www.turnoverball.com to check it out.

I think they sell it under a couple names, here is a picture of the plate on the outside of the frame with the bolts installed. This is before I put the wheels well liners back in, I sprayed the bolts with Wurth body protector.

Thanks for the answer. Its the same installation. A whiz to take off and then have the smooth bed. I had the old RBW on my old "93" but too much trouble to use over. The fender liners are great for keeping the dirt out.
