towing 20,000???????

I have a hijacker 5ver hitch I took out of my 96 GMC. I had to get new angle brackets to fit the 03 3500 DRW. Also got a bolt package with a fish wire. Question is, how do I tighten the bolts in the box frame?? They are standard 1/2" X 1 1/2" hardened bolts with threads all the way to the head, with locking nuts with nylon inserts. Is there another kind of bolt I can get to install this hitch, maybe a fluted bolt like lug bolts on a truck? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The Reese kit for the 2003s comes with fluted bolts.

The kit cost me $75, but you may be able to get just the bolts for a lot less.

When you fish the bolt put a lock washer against the head and use air to draw it up snug then torque it. It worked slick.

Thanks guys, I will try the lock washers with an air tool. I went to 3 trailer places today and asked them and I should have stayed home cause they didn't know s**t. One place wanted to sell me a new Reese and install for $1000. 00, said it is better than my cheap Hijacker. I like the features of my hijacker better than the reese. Jiffy hitch said they don't like to install 5vers. The last place scared me away by the look of the crew. So I will just install myself. Considering Rhino spray in liner, is there a waiting period before installing the 5ver ??

I've heard several recommendations (including from my Rhino-Lining dealer--and I followed it) to get the hitch installed first, then Rhino. That way the liner wraps the cut holes in the bed, and seals them--both to rustproof, and to keep water from getting under the liner at the cut.
