2] What's it worth

It is in exceptional cond. TIA

Kountry Star

Model: M-28SB

Length/Width: 28' x 8'

Axles: 2

Newmar is one of the top of the line units, there have been some improvements since this one was built, go to Nadaguides.com for pricing. bg

Thanx BG, I went to nadaguides and looked it up. I put in a couple of options it has and it came to around 14k. That is what they're asking for the unit. Maybe it's time to do a little negotiating:)

Thanks

RV internet sales sights never post the "pin weight". I own a 2500 CTD and am trying to figure out what the general length of a legal 5ver will be for my truck. Guess I need a pin weight of around 1100 lbs or so (I think). Anyone have an idea of the basic size I should be looking at. I know there are some that are lighter than others but I am thinking quality units will way something close to one another. In other words should I be lookin at 26 footers or 32 footers?

Thanks

When dealing with older "High Line" units in the NADA guide, you must be very careful not to get caught up in the "book hype".

I am not sure who came up with $14,000 price tag, but that coach is not worth that kind of $$$$ if all the compartments were full of dollar bills.

On the older high end units, the book can be over market as much as 100%.

Real $$$ on that unit is around $6 to 7K wholesale and should not be over $9950 retail.

Good Luck!

Thanx for the feed back Barry. After looking around some rv sites and getting prices you are right. I haven't seen the unit but if that's the price they're asking I think I'll pass and do some more looking.

There was an Alpenlite in your neck of the woods that was Plenty in the money. A 31 Rear living Augusta with 2 slides and a new generator for back of $15K. Carl was telling me about it. I think it was a 97 model... ... ... . call Carl and get him to run interferance for you... ... ..... good luck!
