I raced an 04 6. 0 PSD F350 4 door dually... .

Came up on his right side on a 4 lane hwy, cruise set on 66... speed limit is 65 here... . as I got next to him I looked over and nodded ;) ... eased on by... then I hear that F-16 turbo kick in... here he comes... oops there he went... ahh, not quite...comp was on 3/5... his rear bumper was even with my front bumper when the turbo caught it's breath... . then I reeled him in... we did this twice :-laf . Coming up on an empty truck weigh station I wave to pull over. Real nice guy, buys his stuff from a Dodge guy. He had a Edge 5 level box(can't remember what he called it now) Exhaust mods, nothing more. We talked trucks for maybe 20 min. , then went on our way.

I gotta say that thing was quick... at first. Ford has it set to only go 99 mph, oterwise I may not have pulled 'em in(did I just say that?) I couldn't believe the amount of SMOKE that 6. 0 blew out when he got on it. Never seen one make that much when it was runnin' good.

Next time I'll try one on 5/5, but beware, those 6. 0's with a "chip" are pretty tough...

I played with one today but didn't get a chance to really "go". Noticed him in the middle lane with his 6 inch tip sticking about 6 inches outside his truck(which looked funny). I cut over from right lane to left so I could pass him on the left and noticed his smoke. He smoked about as much as I do when I punch it. Most of it was below the 75 mph limit cause of traffic but I was ahead of him not letting him get by me. When he would pull up next to me on my right I would lay on it and let him have some of my fog. As I finally got all the way over to the right to exit I saw him about 150 feet back getting behind me. He was right behind me when I merged off the exit ramp, coast was clear so I got on it again, smoking him out, saw him trying to avoid it, which was weird cause his truck made just as much!

Kinda glad we didn't have an open stretch, he probably would have beat me :)

Nick,

The time in the right lane on this time slip was from a 2004 6. 0 I raced at a Test & Tune last week.

It only had an exhaust and some brand new SCT software programs on it! But it also wieghed about 1000 lbs. less than me :-laf

I still wouldn't own one though! ;)

I agree with everything you said, even the part about not owning one!

That guy with the P/S can't cut a light!

Tcolesanti,

The left lane time is my truck on #2 only and wieghing in at 8040 lbs ;)

It was just a test and tune night, so red lighting didn't mean anything ;) The truck launches so hard now I have to practice leaving later than before

anything less than a . 500 is a red light. Well, depending upon the tree they are using. ;) In this case, yes he red lighted
