Yes just fine. I think it helped hold the house up I was at work when it happened and my truck was in the garage at the time. My wife called to let me know that everybody was fine and also told me she pulled the truck out of the garage... Is she a keeper or what
The house went thru it without damage just everything we had on the shelves and in the closet landed on the floor.
LOL Sledpuller. . . I saw the news tonight and put 2+2 together and realized Waterdonkey had an earthquake at his house instead of a GM 6. 5 TD with bad glow plugs I didn't hear about it 'til I turned the news on around 8 tonight.
I don't spend a lot of time in California but I was in San Bernardino/Loma Linda area when the '92 Landers Quake hit in June. That was a real rockin' roller. Never been in a quake 'til then. Watching cars hop around and 18" waves on a swimming pool was pretty wild. There were about 2" waves rippling though the parking lot asphalt at probably 20-30mph too.
Oh DAMN!! I saw this post when it was just posted and I was like WTF?!?! so I didnt even respond... but now I understand lol. Its nice to hear you made it through ok.
I was watching CNN just as the news broke - and I saw the seismograph on live TV. Only in California!
I'm amazed that the TV stations out there took a break from the high-speed car chases long enough to get a few shots of the 'quake... . (just kidding!)
