the allison does have bad ars 1st gear i think its like 5. ?? where as the dodge auto 1st gear is what a 3. $$. moral of the story the allison transmission is a hoss!

If you guys a good set of speakers and they're turned up enough, it sounds like the dodge shifted into 2nd gear. That would explain alot too. The dodge started forward and they both stopped then sounded like the dodge shifted into 2nd, and the D-max started pulling.

Listened to it again. Sounds to me like he stalled the engine and gut pulled back on a dead motor. Until that point he was pulling the chevy. You can hear a knock right as he starts going back, and you can here the Dodge re-fire at the end.

It sounds like the Dodge only started to lose because the guy running it let off the throttle just a little bit.
