New Guy Here, Cut me a little slack. hope this post works. Bought a 2007.5 2500 with 84000 miles about 4 yrs. ago got 109000 mi now to pull my 30 ft 5th wheel. Bad idea!!!! Electrical issues from day 5. Many trips to clueless dealer where I bought this thing an many $$$$$$ later, batterys still go dead after sitting for 2 weeks, I guess they sort of fixed it used to go dead in 7 days. The dealer fixs were 2 new batterys, new battery were bad. Had batterys checked at battery store they were both good. So I got 2 new Optima red tops just in case. dealer installed Optimas & said all was wonderful. 7 days later dead batterys. Beginning to think Tempe Dodge service dealer SUCKS. OK i'am easy, give um 3 or4 more chances. They changed out factory security system, brake controller, & 1 pricey fuse box holder thingey, all this was done in only 3 dealer visits. But now they said everything was wonderful again !!!! WRONG !!!! So I'am getting sortta PI s-ed. So I hop in my car [ truck was dead ] went to tempe dodge, they said bring it in they will check it out for free. Ya Right. Cornered the so called service manager and got most of my money back minus gas & diesel money. Threats do work. My fix is drive at least once a week or keep a trickle charger on it. Oh ya great pullin truck when the batterys ain't dead. Fast forward 4 yrs. Now I have the dreaded dead pedal syndrome, check engine lite & the dreaded lightbolt lite is on. Codes P2121 & P2122 bad ecm detected a conformance error between pps1 & pps2 ,faulty pps, or bad conn. somewere, open or short circuit. Man that's a mouthful. I ain't much of a mechanic darn sure ain't rich. $1500 ecm, PPS, $500 + install. OUCH. Do we have any diesel gurus around Phx Az. Can compensate. Any ideas hate to go to another dealer. Anyone know of an honest diesel shop in AZ or someone who works on diesels Thx for any ideas Semper Fi Later Jerry L

Do you have a service manual for the truck?
The probable causes you listed sounds like you do and if so does it have the diagnostic checks listed? If not then pm me and I'll send you a link that does. If you're not very mechanically inclined then the diagnostics can help a shop find the issue.
Basically you're right. It's a power supply, wiring short, connector problem, ECM or sensor issue but tests need to be made to determine which is the culprit.

Try this first. The C130 is the big inline connector by the dipstick tube. The PCM is highly unlikely the cause so don't replace it until you have tried everything else.
